The “T” in CITES is one of my favorites. Teaching is the best way to become the authority in what you do, yet, so many of you don’t take this important step in standing out. I challenged myself in January 2018 to show up each Tuesday on video to teach something about social media. I wrote down 12 topics I could teach about and recorded 12 short, under 60 second videos.
This category encourages you to give your audience something they can learn from and put into action. This isn't "look at me" content. It's more "learn from me."

Create an easy how-to or tutorial.
Answer 5 common questions you receive.
Share industry news/update with your spin on it.
Compare/contrast how things are done now vs in the past - how has your industry evolved (and how has it not?)
When it comes to visuals for the teaching category, video is the star of the show. Videos could be short-form (TikTok/Reels under 60 seconds), lives, or longer form video perfect for YouTube.
