You want to be a content rockstar so we're going to make that happen this fall with killer content ideas you can execute on your website, email marketing, and social media.
This week's topic: what is User Generated Content (UGC) and how to use it.
What is it? It is any form of content, such as images, videos, text, and audio, that have been posted by users on online platforms such as social media that may reference your brand.
How to use UGC? Here are some simple steps to take you're doing it right ...
1) Thank the user and ask permission to use their content! Be specific on how you're going to use the created piece.
2) Try to get the original graphics, video, photo or audio to use
3) Communication is critical, so make sure there is an agreement on the use and when/where the content will be posted. You don't want to upset your raving fan.
4) Post where appropriate! If this is something you can repost to your website or use in email marketing, use it there!
